I'm beginning to give up on forgewight. There aren't enough pugs (and isn't have elite and hard dungeons are meant for, done with PEOPLE), henchies have the worst skill bars, and heroes and henchies have the worst AI in the game because they won't flee from AoE and DoT spells QUICKLY enough (and they won't spread out during fighting). Savannah heat+ searing heat will rape your party when heroes and henchies are done. And I am extremely pissed. I NEED HELP in forgewight. Slaver exile is the most hardest dungeon in the game. If ANYONE can help me on this. ANYONE can help my ranger who uses barrage splinter fs winter. PLEASE help me, I'm losing all hope on completing my master dungeon guide.

First off, note that even if you're trying to complete the dungeon for the [Hard Mode] book, you only have to kill Duncan in HM to get credit. The rest can be done in NM.

I did this dungeon on my ranger with H/H. Yes, it takes a while; yes, it's the most difficult dungeon; yes, it is possible. Remember that, if all else fails, 60 dp = zerg rush kekekeke. Elementals don't get ressed. If this doesn't appeal to you, you're going to have to micromanage your H/H with the flags. That's just how it goes.

(Splinter barrage sucks with H/H; use broadhead and some bloody interrupts for god's sake).

SHards of Orr in HM is the hardest thing in the game, makes DoA look like presearing. Vloxen is up there also. Do the parts leading up to Duncan in NM, and finish Duncan and his cohorts off with a gimmicky build. Easy as pie, ecto pie to be exact.

hey even in NM, shards is very hard using H/H, and slavers is the hardest because of the elite status.

Shards as a dungeon wasn't hard; the boss fight was hard. I got to the boss the first time with no deaths at all (dual smite/prot hybrid hero monks). Then Fendi owned me, again, and again, and again.

If your H/H think of giving Vekk Ward against harm or just space out your heroes better.

I agree with the others splintbarrage is crap in this dungeon.

Slavers is easy, really easy, just because A-net says it is elite doesn't mean it is. I did with all pugs in a day. Shards HM is hell, just hell, hell with undead and A Ghosty Soul something or another.

well thx for the help guys, i did manage to complete the forgewight dungeon, now to deal with selve. And i read in guildwiki that the final boss at shards constantly rez himself.

Whew, we (my wife and I) just did Shards tonight on NM for the first time. We had 4 monks - 2 smiters and 2 healer/prot hybrids, Rit healer, Dervish tree, Barrage/Splinter Weapon (her), and SS necro (me). We had absolutely no issues. I would suggest taking the Light of Deldrimor, BTW.

We only have one more dungeon to go to fill up our NM books, and it is Slaver's. So far, the hardest end boss I would say has been Ilsundur in Kathandrax, mainly because of the constant hero flagging you have to do, and that it is so easy to party wipe with a tiny mistake. Good thing is, I can't imagine it being much harder in HM - pretty much would require the same tactics.
